Something Wicked This Way Comes is one of Bradbury's few novels. The protagonists are 13 year old Jim Nightshade and William Halloway, who encounter a malign carnival. The horror elements of the novel are grounded in the dark nature of realistic characters, rather than in threats by fantastic monsters. Disney made a 1983 film based on this novel, with Bradbury as the screenwriter, and it has also been made into a play.
